A bug had been noticed in the built-in messaging app on Samsung Galaxy S9 series and Note 8 phones that has been sending all the photos in the phones gallery to people you’re talking to.

The bug appears to send the photos but doesn’t show you that they are being sent, your messenger app has no indication that the photos are being sent, but the person your talking to will receive them one after the other.

This is obviously very concerning, if the recipient doesn’t tell you they are receiving your photos you may never know about it.

In a post on XDA, it’s suggested the sent photos can be seen by looking in the cellular logs.

While Samsung look into the bug, it’s suggested to go into the apps permissions and remove the access to storage to prevent the app being able to access your photos.
